Vice President Mike Pence is known for being a devout Christian. That’s why it came as no surprise when Pence recently took to social media to share a moving moment of faith.
Right Wing News reported that the moment occurred when Pence met the three American detainees returning from North Korea last month. One of the men handed Pence a note that he just had to share on Twitter.
“It was an amazing moment I’ll never forget… when 3 Americans stepped onto the tarmac at @JBA_NAFW & gave me a signed personal note with Psalm 126 on the back. ‘When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion…’ To these men of faith & courage – God bless you & welcome home!” Pence wrote as he shared the note.

This comes after Pence blasted “The View” host Joy Behar for comments she made calling his Christian faith a “mental illness.”
“To have ABC maintain a broadcast forum that compared Christianity to mental illness is just wrong,” Pence said Wednesday, according to Bizpac Review. “It is simply wrong for ABC to have a television program that expresses that kind of religious intolerance.”
“My faith sustains me in all that I do,” he said, adding that the hosts of “The View” insulted the “vast majority of the American people who cherish faith.”
“It demonstrates how out of touch some in the mainstream media are with the faith and values of the American people that you could have a major network like ABC permit a forum for invective against religion like that,” he said.
